SpecCast is a leading manufacturer of
quality die-cast collectibles, including vehicle and airplane banks, 1/16
tractors, belt buckles and pewter replicas. SpecCast was founded in
1974 in Rockford, Illinois for the purpose of producing die-cast belt
buckles.
The company is now focused on diversifying products within existing product lines. SpecCast now releases collectible cars, trucks, tractor trailers, planes and blimps. The three market areas currently include Ag-Related, Retail and Custom Imprint for promotional and specialty items. Licensing has been obtained from such companies as John Deere, Case-IH, AGCO, and Harley Davidson - to name a few. Scale Models produces replicas
for every major brand of farm equipment at their factory in Dyersville
Iowa. Scale Model Toys has been manufacturing miniature farm tractors and
implements since 1978. Over the years they have grown to become an
American supplier of replica farm toys for all major farm equipment
manufacturers.
Scale Model Toys is privately owned by its founder, Joseph L. Ertl. In 1999 Joe was inducted into the National Farm Toy Hall of Fame. As a businessman, Joe is committed to keeping jobs in the Dyersville community. Therefore, all of their products are Made In America at the Dyersville, Iowa facility. Scale Model Toys, as well as its sister company, Dyersville Die Cast, have been ISO 9002 quality certified manufacturers since 1999.
